One of my good friends is also a photographer, so they invited me to join them at Ren Fest one weekend - when I got to his house, he surprised me by handing me his Canon AE-1 and a few rolls of film, a mix of Ektar 100 and Portra 400 (he offered more, but I was determined to only go through a max of 3 - I know this shit is expensive ha).

Honestly, I had a really great time, and it was a fun new way to interact with photography - he even walked me through the development process so I could get the full experience.

It's not something that I'm really interested in long-term, but it was really fun and I do like the results and I was happy with the success rate for my first time 😊
